This page is visible to both commissioners and entrants and outlines, may look different based on your specific contest and contest format:
Prize payouts
Scoring rules
Entry and pick deadlines
Contest structure
Key settings
It serves as the official summary of your contest configuration.
Prize Payouts
At the top of the page, you'll see the Prize Payouts section showing the prize breakdown by placement, whether payouts are fixed or resizable, and total prize distribution.
What Does "Resizable" Mean?
If the contest does not fill to its projected size, the payout amounts automatically adjust and prize amounts scale based on the final number of entries. You can click "View contest resizing rules" to see the full payout structure.
About This Contest
This section explains how the specific contest format works, including how entrants make picks, how points are awarded (Pick'Em), how survival and elimination works (Survivor), and any special requirements.
Contest Overview Information
This section provides a high-level summary of key details including sport, contest type, multi-entry availability, creator (commissioner username), slate, entry deadline, and pick deadline (Each Game Start, First Game of Slate, or First Game of Round).
Important: In Splash-managed contests, entrants cannot join after the entry deadline has passed.
Contest Settings
This section reflects the exact configuration selected during contest setup. Depending on the contest type, you may see picks per day/round, team use limit (1 time, 2 times, or Unlimited), pick scoring (Straight Up or Against the Spread), and pick objective (Winners or Losers).
Rules (Scoring Breakdown)
This section details exactly how points or advancement are calculated. For Pick'Em contests, points per correct selection are displayed and incorrect or missed picks earn 0 points. For Survivor contests, incorrect selections result in elimination (unless additional lives apply).
Entrants
This section displays the number of current entrants and participant names (once entries are submitted). If it shows "No entrants yet," the contest is live but no one has entered.
Why the Contest Details Page Matters
The Contest Details page confirms official rules and payout structure, displays deadlines and lock times, provides transparency before entry, and reflects the live configuration of the contest. For Splash-managed contests, this page serves as the official reference for how the contest will operate once it begins.
