Splash: NCAAB - Why Does My Sheet Show “TBD” for Matchups?

If you’re seeing “TBD” (To Be Determined) in your contest sheet or console, this simply means the matchup has not yet been finalized.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Why This Happens

In NCAAB contests, certain games — especially in tournament formats — are dependent on prior results. Until those outcomes are decided and the official matchup is confirmed:

  • The team names will display as TBD

  • Spreads and game details may not yet appear

  • Picks may not be available for that matchup

This is expected behavior and does not indicate an issue with your contest.

When Will It Update?

Once the preceding games are completed and the official bracket matchup is confirmed, the system will automatically update:

  • Team names

  • Game details

  • Associated lines/spreads

No action is required from the commissioner or entrants.

If matchups have already been finalized and you are still seeing TBD, please contact Support with your contest name, and we’ll take a look.
