QuickPicks: I thought Splash Sports doesn't penalize correlated pick sheets, what's going on with Golf-focused entry payouts?

Updated today

Golf is a highly correlated sport.

Things like course difficulty and weather conditions impact all golfers. If a course is particularly difficult, or the weather is bad, it’s likely that all golfers are going to shoot a higher score.

Or if the course is easier and the weather is great, all golfers have a much higher chance to shoot a lower score. If you create an entry where you select multiple golfers to all go over or under a projected score then your entry has a much higher chance of being correct.

Due to this you will see that the expected “Protected Payout” is significantly lower than you’d see with any other sport we offer.

Additionally, when a user makes a highly-correlated golf QuickPicks entry, the "max payout" option may not be available to them.
