New Tiers enhancements are live on Splash Sports ahead of the golf majors! With multiple customization options, new ways to play, and endless action throughout the golf season, there are plenty of ways to win on Splash Sports.
Golf Majors Tiers
The same Tiers format you've played on Splash throughout the golf, NFL, and NBA seasons is getting an upgrade. Tiers games can now be run across multiple tournaments, including all four golf majors.
Dollar Winnings vs. Total Strokes
With Golf Majors Tiers, you can choose between two scoring options:
Dollar Winnings — Points are based on the official prize money earned by your selected golfers each tournament. For example, if you pick Scottie Scheffler for the first major and he wins, you'd receive points equal to his tournament earnings.
Total Strokes — Points are based on your golfer's stroke performance relative to par. Just like real golf, you want the lowest score to top the leaderboard.
Expanded Roster
Previously, Tiers games allowed a maximum of six tiers per event. Now, contests can include a roster of 4 to 8 players — giving commissioners more flexibility to build the contest that's right for their group.
Set Your Schedule
Once you've determined your roster settings, it's time to set the schedule. Golf Majors Tiers allow you to include just the four majors, or expand to also include THE PLAYERS and the FedEx Cup.
Dollar Winnings Multipliers
Multipliers are available when Dollar Winnings is selected as your scoring option. Add a multiplier to any tournament to make picks for that event even more impactful — weight any tournament to give the biggest events the biggest stakes.
Player Use Limit & Drop Your Worst Golfer
Player Use Limits, familiar from One & Done contests, are now available in Golf Majors Tiers. This adds an extra layer of strategy — save your top golfers for the tournaments where you think they'll perform best.
Brand new to Golf Majors Tiers is the Drop Your Worst Golfer option. Commissioners can choose to drop the one or two worst-scoring golfers from a roster for a given tournament, so a single bad pick won't derail your entire contest standing.
Payout Schedule
Commissioners have full control over how and when prizes are paid out. Options include:
Pay out the overall contest winner at the end
Pay out winners for individual tournaments
Create payout segments to reward multiple winners throughout the contest on top of the season-long prize
