If you need to hand off commissioner ownership of a contest to someone else — whether you're stepping back from the group, switching accounts, or passing the contest to a new organizer — here's how to do it.
How to Request a Transfer
Commissioner transfers are handled by the Splash Sports support team. To request one:
Email support@splashsports.com
CC the current commissioner on the email (their approval is required)
Include the following in your message:
The contest name
The new commissioner's name and email address
Confirmation from the current commissioner that they approve the transfer
Once we receive confirmation from the current commissioner, we'll update the contest and notify both parties.
Requirements
The current commissioner must approve the transfer — we cannot process transfers without their explicit consent
The new commissioner must have an existing Splash Sports account — we transfer access to an existing account, not a new one
For real-money contests, the new commissioner must be verified (KYC) and in an eligible state to continue running the contest
What Happens After the Transfer
The new commissioner gains full access to the Commissioner tab and all contest management tools for that contest
The previous commissioner loses commissioner access but remains a participant if they have an entry
Future commissioner rewards are paid to the new commissioner's Splash wallet
Contest history and settings carry over unchanged
Can I Have Two Commissioners?
Splash Sports does not currently support co-commissioners. Only one account can hold commissioner access at a time. If you need help managing your contest, the current commissioner can share login access informally — but only one account will have official commissioner tools.
