In-Season Payouts Are Live on Splash Sports!

How In-Season Payouts work on Splash Sports — payout segments, slate payouts, prize structures, and how to set them up for Golf One & Done contests.

Updated over a week ago

In-Season Payouts let commissioners reward participants throughout the contest — not just at the end. This feature is available for Golf One & Done (Splash-managed) contests.

What Are In-Season Payouts?

Instead of a single end-of-season payout, In-Season Payouts allow you to split your contest into segments or individual slates — each with its own prize. This keeps participants engaged throughout the full season, even if they fall behind overall.

Splash handles all standings calculations and prize distributions automatically — no manual tracking needed.

Payout Options

1. Payout Segments

Break your contest into time-based segments (e.g., early season, late season). Each segment functions like a mini-contest — the top performers in that stretch earn a prize, and Splash tracks both segment and overall standings simultaneously.

2. Slate Payouts

Pay out winners based on individual tournament slates. Great for rewarding consistent weekly performance. Splash handles standings and prize distribution for each slate automatically.

Payout Structures Available

As commissioner, you control the total prize and how much goes toward each segment or slate. You can choose from:

  • Winner Take All

  • Top 3

  • Top 5

  • Top 10

How to Set Up In-Season Payouts

In-Season Payout options appear during contest creation for eligible formats:

  1. Select Golf One & Done as your format

  2. Under In-Season Payouts, choose Payout Segments or Slate Payouts

  3. Configure your prize breakdown and finalize your settings
