NFL Pick'em (also called Pick X) is a season-long contest where you pick the winners of NFL games each week. The entry with the most correct picks wins. Here's how it works and how to make your picks.
How NFL Pick'em Works
Each week, you'll select winners for a set of NFL games. Correct picks earn you points, and your total accumulates over the course of the season. The entry with the highest point total at the end of the season wins.
Unlike Survivor, a wrong pick doesn't eliminate you β it just means fewer points that week. You stay in the contest all season regardless of your record.
Pick'em Formats
Your commissioner will have chosen one of the following formats when creating the contest:
Standard Pick'em β Each correct pick earns equal points. Simple and straightforward.
Pick'em with Best Pick β In addition to your regular picks, you designate one game as your "Best Pick." If that pick is correct, you earn bonus points (typically double). Choose wisely.
Pick'em with Weighted Scoring β Some weeks or games are worth more points than others, as set by the commissioner. Check the contest rules to see which games carry extra weight.
Against the Spread (ATS) β Instead of just picking winners, your pick must also cover the point spread to earn points. A team can win the game but still lose against the spread.
Check your contest's Rules section to confirm which format you're playing.
How to Make Your Weekly Picks
Log in at app.splashsports.com or open the Splash Sports app
Go to My Contests β Active and select your Pick'em contest
Tap your entry to open the weekly pick sheet
Select a winner for each game on the slate
If your format includes a Best Pick, designate one game as your best bet
Tap Save/Submit to lock in your picks
β οΈ Picks lock at the deadline set by your commissioner. Once locked, they cannot be changed. You can update picks any time before the deadline.
What Happens If I Miss a Week?
If you don't submit picks before the deadline, you'll receive zero points for any unpicked games that week. You remain in the contest β you've just given your competition a leg up. If your commissioner has enabled Auto Picks, the system may assign picks automatically on your behalf.
How Are Ties Handled?
If two or more entries finish the season with the same total points, Splash combines the prize amounts for those positions and splits them equally among all tied entries.
