NFL Pick'em Confidence adds a strategy layer on top of standard Pick'em. You still pick the winners of NFL games each week β but you also rank how confident you are in each pick. The more confident you are, the more points a correct pick earns you.
How Pick'em Confidence Works
Each week you pick winners for a set of NFL games and assign a confidence ranking to each pick. If the slate has 14 games, you assign rankings from 1 to 14 β with 14 being your most confident pick and 1 being your least confident. If your pick is correct, you earn the number of points you assigned to it. If it's wrong, you earn zero.
The entry with the highest total points at the end of the season wins.
Example
Say you're playing a 10-game week. You assign 10 points to the Chiefs (your most confident pick) and 1 point to a long shot. If the Chiefs win, you earn 10 points. If the long shot wins, you earn 1 point. The goal is to stack your highest confidence values on games you're most likely to get right.
How to Make Your Weekly Picks
Log in at app.splashsports.com or open the Splash Sports app
Go to My Contests β Active and select your Pick'em Confidence contest
Tap your entry to open the weekly pick sheet
Select a winner for each game
Drag and drop (or reorder) your picks to assign confidence rankings β highest number = most confident
Tap Save/Submit to lock in your picks
β οΈ Picks and confidence rankings lock at the deadline set by your commissioner. Once locked, neither can be changed. You can update both any time before the deadline.
What Happens If I Miss a Week?
If you don't submit picks before the deadline, you'll earn zero points for that week. You stay in the contest β you've just fallen behind. Check your contest settings to see if Auto Picks are enabled, which may assign picks and confidence values on your behalf if you miss the deadline. Deadlines for submitting picks are tied to the start of the contest slate, not individual games. Once the slate begins, all picks for that slate are locked. For example, if you miss the Thursday Night Football game in an NFL Confidence Pool, you cannot submit or modify picks for the rest of the week. This rule ensures fairness and consistency across all participants.
Missed Pick Penalty
If you pick a team but forget to submit a confidence ranking for a game, your commissioner may have configured a Missed Pick Penalty. This determines what confidence value is automatically assigned to the unpicked game β either the highest available points or the lowest available points. Check your contest rules to see how this is set. This process mirrors the default point assignment system used on Splash. Understanding this rule helps participants anticipate how missed picks will impact their scores.
How Are Ties Handled?
If two or more entries finish the season with the same total points, Splash splits the prize equally among all tied entries.
Account Verification and Troubleshooting
Occasionally, a member may appear to have a missed pick even though they believe they submitted one. This issue often arises due to confusion between accounts or entries with similar names. To resolve this:
Verify the exact username or email associated with the entry.
Check all accounts or entries to ensure you are viewing the correct one.
By confirming account details, you can avoid misunderstandings and ensure accurate tracking of picks.
