NFL Playoff contests on Splash Sports let you keep the competition going through the postseason. Whether you prefer picking game winners, building fantasy lineups, or surviving week by week, there's a playoff format for your group. Here's how each one works.
NFL Playoff Pick'em
Pick the winners of NFL playoff games each round. Correct picks earn you points, and your total accumulates through the Wild Card, Divisional, Conference Championship, and Super Bowl rounds. The entry with the most correct picks at the end of the playoffs wins.
Playoff Pick'em may also include enhanced formats like:
Best Pick — Designate one game per round as your best bet for bonus points
Weighted Scoring — Later rounds are worth more points, rewarding accurate predictions as the stakes rise
NFL Playoff Tiers
Build a fantasy lineup by selecting one player from each tier, competing across playoff games. Formats include:
Single Game Tiers — Draft players from one specific playoff game
Single Day Tiers — Draft from all players competing on a single playoff day
Single Round Tiers — Draft from all players in a full playoff round (e.g., all Divisional Round games)
Multi-Round Tiers — Compete across multiple rounds, with optional player use limits so you can't reuse the same players each week
Your players earn fantasy points based on their real-life stats. The entry with the highest total points wins.
NFL Playoff Survivor
The same Survivor format you know from the regular season, now running through the playoffs. Pick one team to win each round. If they win, you advance. If they lose — or you miss your pick — you're out. The last remaining entry wins.
Some regular-season Survivor contests are configured to extend automatically into the playoffs — check your contest's schedule under the Rules tab to see if this applies to you. Playoff-only Survivor contests can also be created as standalone contests.
How to Enter a Playoff Contest
Log in at app.splashsports.com or open the Splash Sports app
Check the Lobby for available public playoff contests, or use an invite link from your commissioner
Enter before the contest's entry deadline
Make your picks before each round's pick deadline
⚠️ Playoff contests move quickly — rounds can be just a few days apart. Make sure your picks are in before each deadline.
How Are Ties Handled?
Across all playoff formats, if two or more entries finish with the same score, Splash splits the prize equally among all tied entries.
