If one of your picks results in a tie, push, or void, your entry may still be valid, but the payout can be downgraded based on the remaining valid picks.
How do I know if my entry is Perfect Score?
When submitting your entry, you may not see a separate game mode option.
Instead, look at the checkbox on the entry screen:
If the checkbox is highlighted, you have opted into a Perfect Score entry.
If the checkbox is not highlighted, you have opted into a Top Score entry.
Example
In this example, the checkbox is highlighted, which means the entry is submitted as a Perfect Score entry.
Perfect Score vs. Top Score
With Top Score, you can win as long as your score is higher than everyone else in the contest.
With Perfect Score, if one or more picks in your Perfect Score entry result in a Did Not Play (DNP), Tie (Push), or voided pick, your entry will be downgraded to reflect the number of remaining valid picks. For example, a 5-pick Perfect Score entry with 1 DNP will be reclassified as a 4-pick Perfect Score entry with a downgraded guaranteed multiple. Please note that downgrades only apply to Perfect Score entries and not Max Score entries, which award .5 points for DNPs.
