QuickPicks: What is "Perfect Score"?

What Is a Perfect Score?

The Perfect Score game mode gives users the opportunity to receive a guaranteed payout when entering a QuickPicks contest.

Unlike standard peer-to-peer contests where prizes may be split among tied users, a Perfect Score entry pays the full guaranteed prize amount if all qualifying picks are correct. Even if multiple users achieve the same result, eligible Perfect Score entries will still receive the advertised payout.

How Does Perfect Score Work?

To win a Perfect Score contest, every valid pick in your entry must be correct.

If any pick is graded as incorrect, the entry is no longer eligible for a payout.

What Happens if a Pick Is DNP, Pushes, or Is Voided?

If one or more selections in your Perfect Score entry result in a:

  • Did Not Play (DNP)

  • Tie (Push)

  • Voided selection

Your entry may be downgraded to reflect the number of remaining valid picks.

Example

A 5-pick Perfect Score entry with 1 DNP would be reclassified as a 4-pick Perfect Score entry and would be eligible for the corresponding 4-pick guaranteed payout, provided all remaining selections are correct.

Downgrade Requirements

To remain eligible for a downgraded payout:

  • All remaining valid picks must be correct.

  • The entry must contain at least 2 valid picks.

  • The remaining valid picks must be from at least 2 different teams.

If these requirements are met, the entry will receive the payout associated with the downgraded pick count.

When Is an Entry Refunded?

A Perfect Score entry will be refunded if:

  • Only 1 valid pick remains after DNPs, pushes, or voids; or

  • All remaining valid picks are on the same team.

In these situations, the entry no longer meets the minimum requirements for a valid Perfect Score contest.

DNPs, Pushes, and Voids vs. Incorrect Picks

It's important to understand the difference:

  • DNP, Push, or Voided Pick → May result in a downgrade or refund.

  • Incorrect Pick → The entry is not eligible for any Perfect Score payout.

An incorrect selection cannot be removed or downgraded.

What Happens if My Entry Doesn't Match?

QuickPicks is a peer-to-peer game and requires a complete match with other users before an entry becomes active.

If a matching contest cannot be formed within the applicable timeframe, the entry may be automatically voided and refunded. This ensures user funds are not held indefinitely while waiting for an opponent.

When an entry is voided due to a lack of matching opponents, there is no active contest and therefore no eligibility for a Perfect Score payout.

Does This Apply to Top Score Entries?

No.

Perfect Score downgrade rules apply only to Perfect Score entries.

Top Score entries use a different scoring system where DNPs and pushes are typically worth 0.5 points, and winners are determined by total score relative to other matched users.
