When your regular season is done, SportsVisio Manager (also called SV Record) can generate a Playoff bracket or a Swiss schedule for a division. This is set up on the Enable Playoffs screen.
Before you start
This needs the editPED (manage divisions & seasons) permission. You get it as an admin. If Enable Playoffs doesn't appear in the side menu, your role can't set this up.
Have your teams and standings in place first. Teams are seeded from the current standings.
Get started
Open the side menu and tap Enable Playoffs.
Pick the Season and Division you want.
Choose a Season format: Playoff or Swiss.
Playoff format
Choose a Bracket size: 4, 8, 16, 32 or 64.
Optionally turn on the Third-place game, "Semifinal losers play one extra game for third place."
Tap Enable Playoff.
Playoff games are created as TBD matchups. Teams are seeded from the current standings when you seed the bracket, and any open slots become byes automatically.
Swiss format
Optionally set the number of Rounds: leave it empty for the default (about logâ of the team count). The maximum is the number of teams minus one.
Tap Enable Swiss.
The Bracket tab
Once you enable a format, a Bracket tab appears on the Games screen, where you can follow the rounds and matchups.
Disabling it
If a format is already enabled, the screen shows the current settings plus a Disable option. You'll be asked to confirm, "Disabling it hides the rounds/bracket and their games."
