Choosing your upload method (Wi-Fi or cellular)

Choose between Wi-Fi and cellular for uploads.

📍 Where to find it: Account button → Upload method

Your Upload method in SportsVisio Manager (also called SV Record) controls whether game videos upload only on Wi-Fi, or can also use cellular data. This is the setting behind the Waiting for Wi-Fi status you may see while uploading. See How to upload your game video.

Open the setting

  1. Tap the account button to open your profile.

  2. Tap Upload method.

The two options

  • Wi-Fi Only, "Only upload videos when connected to a Wi-Fi network."

  • Cellular data + Wi-Fi, "Use cellular data when necessary to upload videos."

Pick one, then tap Save changes.

What Save changes does to an upload in progress

Tapping Save changes re-applies immediately to the active upload queue: it pauses or resumes in-progress uploads to match your new choice. So if an upload is stuck, switching to Cellular data + Wi-Fi and saving lets it continue over cellular right away.

About "Waiting for Wi-Fi"

If a game shows Waiting for Wi-Fi, you're on the Wi-Fi Only setting and not connected to Wi-Fi. Either connect to Wi-Fi, or switch to Cellular data + Wi-Fi and tap Save changes to keep uploading.

Uploading video over cellular can use a lot of data. Use Wi-Fi Only if you're on a limited data plan.
