Gifting (also called Spriggy Me) lets family and friends send money directly to your child's Spriggy card — no Spriggy account needed. It's perfect for birthdays, celebrations, or any time someone wants to contribute to your child's spending money.
How to share your child's Gifting link
1. Log in as Primary Parent
2. Tap child's profile
3. Tap Spriggy card
4. Tap request
A few things to keep in mind
• Only the Primary Parent can share a child's Gifting link.
• Contributors pay using an Australian-issued Visa or Mastercard debit card — no Spriggy account required.
• Each child has their own unique link — make sure you share the right one.
• Contributions go directly onto your child's Spriggy card.
• The $999 card balance limit still applies. Contributions that would push the card over $999 will fail.
• The total contribution amount cannot exceed $499 within a rolling period. Any amount above this limit will fail.
Note: It can take a short time (usually a few minutes) for money to appear on your child's card after a contribution is made.
If you'd like someone to contribute on an ongoing basis — not just one-off — you can add them as an Additional Parent through Family Groups. See our Family Groups guide for more.
