Multi-parent access is now live!
You can now set up additional parents to have oversight and management of your child's account. They can create and approve jobs, send money to the kids, set up their pocket money, check and change card controls and also change their card PIN.
They cannot edit the kids' profiles, and you can add/remove access to these linked parents any time.
Note: If you want to share a wallet with another parent, you both can just share a log in. Download the app on seperate devices and log in with the same credentials.
To set up multi-parent access, follow the steps below -
Step 1: Tap on your profile icon on the top left of the screen
Step 2: Tap on 'Manage Family'
Step 3: This is where you can see all the kids you manage. Tap on 'Add a parent / caregiver)
Step 4: This is where you can read how the new parent will access your child's account, and what controls they will have. Once you've read through, just tap 'Next'
Step 5: Choose the kids whose account the new parent/caregiver can access and enter what your kids call them. Once you've entered this info, you can tap 'Next'
Step 6: Add the details of the new parent. Enter their mobile number and hit 'Next'
Step 7: Just press 'Done' and you're all set.
What next?
If the new parent is already a SquareOne user
If the new parent is already a registered SquareOne user with other kids attached to their profile, they dont need to do anything at all. They just need to follow the same log in process as everytime and when they're in, they'll have access to the new kid's account too.
If the new parent is new to SquareOne
If the new parent is new to SquareOne, its pretty easy for them to get up and running too. Just download the app, hit 'register' and enter all their personal details. Once they hit 'submit', they'll then be in their account and will have access to the new kid already.
