How to Disable or Manage Notifications for the SQUID App
If you want to stop or manage notifications from the SQUID app, you can do so through your device's system settings. Below are step-by-step instructions for both Android and iOS devices.
For Android Devices
Open your phone's Settings app.
Navigate to Apps or Apps & Notifications (the exact name may vary by device).
Find and select SQUID from the list of installed apps.
Tap Notifications.
Toggle off Allow Notifications to disable all notifications, or customize specific notification channels (e.g., sounds, banners).
For iOS Devices
Open your iPhone's Settings app.
Tap Notifications.
Scroll down and select SQUID.
Toggle off Allow Notifications to stop all notifications, or adjust alert styles, sounds, and badges to your preference.
Notes on In-App Notifications
Disabling notifications through system settings will stop push notifications but will not affect in-app messages. These messages will still appear when you open the SQUID app.
In-app inbox messages cannot be deleted, but opening the inbox will reset the unread/badge count to zero.
Wave Points are a built-in feature of the SQUID app and cannot be disabled. However, you can manage notifications about Wave Points and promotional campaigns by disabling push notifications through your device's settings.
Disabling push notifications will stop all notifications from the SQUID app, including those related to Wave Points and other promotional messages.
Troubleshooting
If you cannot find the SQUID app in your device's notification settings, ensure you are viewing the full list of apps (e.g., "All Apps" on Android).
The exact path to notification settings may vary slightly depending on your device model and operating system version.
By following these steps, you can effectively manage or disable notifications from the SQUID app on your device.
