Adding an Indirect Event Type

To setup Indirect Event Types in Penelope you will need to be logged in with a System Administrator account.

Indirect Events are events that are typically administrative in nature and do not involve Individuals (e.g. staff meetings, education sessions, conferences, leave etc).

These types of events do not appear in an Individual’s Service File (although individuals may be added to these types of events). Workers and Resources can both be included in Indirect Events.

For Workers to book Indirect Events it is necessary to create Indirect Event Types (e.g. categories of Indirect Events). It is possible to create as many Indirect Event Types as necessary.

Adding an Indirect Event Type

1. In the System Setup section select Event.

2. In the Field Setup section select Indirect Event Type.

3. In the Active Values section select Add.

4. Enter the Value.
