Indirect Event Page

The Indirect Events page provides a snapshot view of an Indirect Event and includes the start date, end date, location, attendees etc.

Please note: Instructions on this page assume you are already on the Indirect Event page. If you are not on the Indirect Event page you will need to navigate to the page first (e.g. from you My Calendar, Agency Events, search facility etc).

What are Indirect Events?

Indirect Events are used for booking non-client events into your schedule. Indirect Events are typically administrative in nature (e.g. staff meetings, vacation time, conferences etc.) and do not appear in a client’s Service File. Workers can schedule an Indirect Event for themselves, other workers and can also include any resources required for the event.

Edit an Indirect Event

To edit the Indirect Event click the edit button located in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Once clicked you will be able to edit the items in the screenshot below.

Notes Tab

To add notes to an Indirect Event select the Notes tab located at the top of the page, then click edit. Here you can enter any notes that are relevant to the Indirect Event.

Book Follow Up

The Book Follow Up link allows you to book another Indirect Event. For information on how to book an Indirect Event click here.

Reschedule an Indirect Event

Rescheduling an event, allows you to change the date and/or time of an existing event, without having to add a new event (and delete the existing event).

Attendees Section

The Attendees section is a list of everyone who is attending the Indirect Event. It is possible to remove attendees by clicking the minus (-) icon located next to the applicable attendee.

You can also add Workers, Resources, Individuals and Blue Book Contacts to the Indirect Event. You can do this by clicking the applicable link located in the Attendees section. It is also possible to mark the attendance by clicking the Mark Attendance link.

Important

If an Individual with a ClientConnect account is added to an Indirect Event, the Indirect Event will be visible in the Individual’s ClientConnect account.
