Troubleshooting: My client received an ‘Oops’ error when trying to submit a document through Engage

What's happening:

When a client completes a Document using Engage, they receive an Oops… error message when attempting to submit the Document.

Possible solution:

This error message is typically caused when, in a staged Document, the initial stage has already been completed in Penelope and you send the client a second copy of the initial stage using Engage. While the client will be able to access and fill out the initial stage of the Document, they will receive an error message upon trying to submit it.

To resolve this problem you will need to resend a progress stage of the Document to the client via Engage.
