Receiving the Document
When the Engage user is assigned a Document or Checklist task they will receive an email that they have a Document to complete and a link to the Documents.
When the user clicks the link in the email, they will be taken to the Document or Checklist Task landing page. This page has a link to the Document and (depending on the setup on the System Administrator side) the client can reply to or reject the Document/s.
If it is a Checklist Task, they will have multiple Documents to complete.
If it is a Document Task, they will only have one (1) Document to complete.
Engage Document Completion and Stages
It is possible for staged documents to be completed using Engage. For information specific to Engage read the instructions below.
1. Stage Completion Rules apply to these Documents.
2. Penelope does not prevent the user from sending Stages to Engage users out of order (as per Stage Completion Rules)
3. Any Stage Rules that are set up on the Document Template could affect the Questions shown in the stage sent to the ClientConnect user.
4. When a staged Document is completed out of order (as per Stage Completion Rules) the following is the expected behaviour for a Document Task:
When the user clicks on the link in the email, a check is done to see if the Document can be completed or not.
If it can, the Engage user will see the link to the Document.
If not, the Engage user will be taken to the Oops page.
โError Code: -15.In Penelope, the task will now be assigned to the Worker.
5. When a staged Document is completed out of order (as per Stage Completion Rules) the following is the expected behavior for a Checklist Task:
When the user clicks on the link in the email, a check is done to see if any of the Documents can be completed or not.
If none of the Documents can be completed, the Engage user will be taken to the Oops page.
Error Code: -15
In Penelope, all of the tasks in that Checklist task will now be assigned to the Worker (including the parent task).
If one of the Documents can be completed, the Engage user will be able to complete that Document. The others will be re-assigned to the Worker.
In Penelope any of the tasks that cannot be completed will be re-assigned to the Worker.
The parent Checklist Task will remain assigned to the Individual.
