Populating Fund-Level Net Metrics in Fund Analytics

Written by Joshua Vance
Updated yesterday

The Fund Overview page in Fund Analytics provides a high-level snapshot of a fund’s investments and overall performance. This view can include important fund-level net metrics such as Gross IRR, Net IRR, MOIC, TVPI, DPI, and RVPI.

These metrics help provide a more complete picture of overall fund performance in the Fund Analytics tab.

How Fund-Level Net Metrics Are Added

Fund-level net metrics are not automatically calculated from the investment data already stored in the platform.

To populate these values in Fund Analytics, your team must provide the data separately using Standard Metrics’ fund-level net metrics import template (found at the bottom .

Steps to Add Fund-Level Net Metrics

1. Complete the Import Template

Fill out the fund-level net metrics import template with the required data for your fund.

The template file is attached at the bottom of this page. Click on it to download.

2. Send the Template to Standard Metrics

Once completed, send the template to your Customer Success Manager or Data Solutions Lead.

3. Standard Metrics Imports the Data

After the file is reviewed, the Standard Metrics team will import the fund-level net metrics into the platform so they appear in the Fund Analytics tab.

Important Note

Because these are fund-level net metrics, they are managed through a separate import process rather than being derived from company-level investment records already in Standard Metrics.

Summary

The Fund Overview page in Fund Analytics can display key fund-level net metrics, including Gross IRR, Net IRR, MOIC, TVPI, DPI, and RVPI. Since these values are not calculated automatically from existing platform data, they must be submitted through the fund-level net metrics import template and imported by the Standard Metrics team.
