If your metrics already live in Excel or Google Sheets, you don't need to type them into an investor report one cell at a time. You can copy a range from your spreadsheet and paste it straight into the report table. Values fill in from wherever you paste, mapping across columns and down rows.
This short walkthrough shows copying a column, a row, and a full table into a report:
Before you paste: line things up
Paste works best when your spreadsheet is arranged the same way as the report table:
Match the time periods in your spreadsheet columns to the columns in the investor report (e.g. Apr, May, Jun).
Match the metrics in your spreadsheet rows to the rows being requested (e.g. Net Burn, Revenue).
How to paste
In your spreadsheet, select the cells you want to copy — a single row, a single column, or an entire block of metrics — and copy them.
In the investor report, click the top-left cell where you want the data to start.
Paste. The values fill in from that cell, spreading right across the columns and down the rows.
You can paste a single value, one row or column at a time, or a whole table at once, pasting across multiple time periods and multiple metrics in a single step.
