To add a realization event, click the 'Add Transaction' button within the certificates, for example here:

Once clicked, a new window will pop up - enter the transaction details (e.g. stock sale) hit "Add Sale Transaction" to save your details, example:

The transaction status will be updated and your realized value will be displayed at the top.
