Here are the steps to onboard:
You should receive an email invitation to connect with your investor on Standard Metrics. Once you've received an email invitation to sign up, make sure to sign up with the email address that was sent the invitation.
Note: If you try to login with an email address that has not been invited to the platform, you will be directed to a page to 'request a demo'. If you see this page, it means you are using an email address that has not been invited.
You can log in to the platform through Gmail, Microsoft, or by entering your email address and receiving a one-time link to your inbox.
You will then be brought to an onboarding page. First, you will be asked some basic information about your company.
Next, you have the option to add integrations. This is entirely optional. We offer accounting, banking, and payroll integrations.
Of the three, we most recommend the accounting integration, which pulls all standard metrics into the platform, and is therefore most beneficial to streamline investor reporting.
If you'd like to skip integrations, simply click Complete to continue on to the platform. You can always add/manage integrations later within Settings.
Once you are in the platform, you have successfully set up your company profile.
