FAQs

How do I get benchmarks?

You can access your tailored benchmarks by manually entering your data or connecting to your accounting system. If you are entering data manually, you will be prompted to input 6 months of Revenue and a recent Headcount in order to access your benchmarks.

What benchmarks do I get?

Here’s what you’ll receive in your Score Card:

You will receive 9 scores across 3 buckets. See your percentile score for each metric, and know exactly where to apply resources to improve business health.

  1. Growth

    1. Revenue

    2. Revenue Growth

    3. Headcount

  2. Burn

    1. Net Burn

    2. Runway

  3. Efficiency

    1. Burn/FTE (Full-Time Employees)

    2. Gross Margin

    3. Operating Margin

    4. Revenue/FTE

How can I make the most of Benchmarks?

Revenue and headcount are the only data points necessary to get started with Benchmarks. This information will be used to compare your company's Revenue per Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) efficiency metrics to your industry peers. You'll see how your Revenue, Revenue Growth, and Headcount benchmarks compare, providing valuable growth metrics for strategic decision-making.

However, by providing optional data, you can access five additional benchmarks: Net Burn, Runway, Burn per Full-Time Equivalent (FTE), Gross Margin, and Revenue per FTE.

These benchmarks offer deeper insights into your company's financial health and operational efficiency. Consider linking to your accounting software to access these additional benchmarks. (See more about our accounting integration here.)

How much does Benchmarks cost?

This product is free for all companies who use the Standard Metrics platform.

How do I opt out?

Users who do not wish to include their data in benchmarking can opt out via the settings page. (note: Users will not have access to Benchmarks after opting out.)
