What is my Refer a Friend link?
Your "Refer a Friend" link lets you invite a friend to join StartPlaying! If your friend uses the link and makes a brand new account with us, your friend gets $10 in credit to use towards their first game.
When they use their $10 credit to play a game, you get $10 for your next game!
How do I Refer a Friend to StartPlaying?
Go to Refer a Friend under Account Settings
Click Copy Referral Link to directly share your referral link
You can also click the "Share on..." buttons to generate referral posts for popular social media sites!
When someone follows your link and creates a brand new StartPlaying account, they'll get the $10 credit.
There's currently no limit on how many referrals you can send! 🔗
How do I track my referrals?
At the bottom of the “Refer a Friend” page, you can see:
Accounts that have signed up using your referral link.
Which accounts have used their $10 credit.
📌 Remember: You won't receive your $10 until your friend uses their $10.
How does the $10 credit work?
The credit that comes from a Refer a Friend link only works when someone creates a brand new account. Existing users won't receive $10 in credit.
Players who create an account by following the referral link will begin with a $10 credit on their account. This credit automatically apply itself to whatever game they decide to play first.
Once they've used up the entirety of the $10 credit, you will also get your $10 credit added to your account.
Can I save up referral credits?
You can save up credits from multiple referrals for as long as you'd like. They never expire! Whatever credit you have will automatically apply itself to your next game.
Can I cash out my referral credits?
No, you cannot transfer your referral credits to your bank or card on file with StartPlaying. You can only use referral credits to pay for games on StartPlaying.
