Does StartPlaying use a Username/Password system?
No, StartPlaying does not use usernames and passwords.
We use a Magic Code system for logging in instead of the traditional Username/Password system.
ο»ΏThe reason our platform uses Magic Codes for login is that it's much safer and more secure than using the traditional password.

How to Login to your StartPlaying Account
1. Click Login in the upper right-hand corner of the screen
2. Enter the email address on your StartPlaying account, and click Sign Up/Log In
3. Once you click Sign Up/Log In you will be presented a field to enter your Verification Code
4. Go to your email to find your Verification Code

5. Return to the log in screen and input your Verification Code in the field provided
6. Click the blue Submit button to log in

How to Set Up Social Login
1. Click on your Profile Picture in the upper right-hand corner
2. Click Account Settings
3. Click Social Login
4. Click Link New Google Account or Link New Facebook Account

A pop-up will open for you to select what Google account you want to link to your StartPlaying account.
Link New Facebook Account
If you click on "Continue with Facebook", there won't be any sort of pop-up, but the page will reload. As long as you are already logged into Facebook on your browser, the account should now be linked

How do I change the email address on file with my account?
Keeping your email address up to date ensures you continue receiving crucial updates and account-related communications. There are multiple ways to update the email address on your StartPlaying account.
Via Chat
Click the blue chat beacon on the lower right of every FAQ page
Tell the Crystal Ball I want to update my email
Fill in the Update Email form with:
Your current email address on file
Your new email address
The last 4 digits of a bank account or card on file with your account
