Logging in, it's kind of important! If you can't log in, how can you do anything else on StartPlaying? 🤷‍♀️

This article will take you through a quick tour of how to log in normally, and also how to link your account to your socials so that you can use the Social Login in the future!

No, StartPlaying does not use usernames and passwords. We use a Magic Link system for logging in instead of the traditional Username/Password system.

The reason our platform uses the Magic Link system for login is that it's much safer and more secure than using the traditional password.

1. Click Login in the upper right-hand corner of the screen

2. Enter the email address on your StartPlaying account, and click Sign Up/Log In

3. Go to your email to find your one-time sign in link

4. In your email, click Log In

If you try these steps and can't login to your account, please contact us at support@startplayinggames.com!

1. Click on your Profile Picture in the upper right-hand corner
2. Click Account Settings

3. Click Social Login

4. Click Link New Google Account or Link New Facebook Account

A pop-up will open for you to select what Google account you want to link to your StartPlaying account.

If you click on "Continue with Facebook", there won't be any sort of pop-up, but the page will reload. As long as you are already logged into Facebook on your browser, the account should now be linked

If you ever have problems with the social login, you can always use the regular login to gain access to your account 👍

Let The Crystal Ball know "I need to update my email address" (or a variation of that) and The Crystal Ball will pull up a ticket for you to get in contact with support 👍
