Does StartPlaying use a Username/Password system?
No, StartPlaying does not use usernames and passwords.
We use a Magic Code system for logging in instead of the traditional Username/Password system.
With Magic Code login:
You enter your email address
We send a one-time verification code to your email
You use that code to log in
Why does StartPlaying use Magic Codes?
Magic Codes are:
More secure than passwords
Not reusable
Impossible to guess or reuse across sites
This helps protect your account without requiring you to remember a password.
How to Login to your StartPlaying Account
Click Log In in the upper-right corner of the site
Enter the email address associated with your StartPlaying account
Click Sign Up / Log In
Check your email for your Verification Code
Enter the code on the login screen
Click Submit to log in
📌 Important Note: Verification codes expire 15 minutes after being sent.
I didn’t receive my verification code. What should I do?
Try the following steps:
Check your spam or promotions folder
Make sure you entered the correct email address

Can I use Google or Facebook to log in?
Yes. You can enable social login using Google or Facebook.
How to Set Up Social Login
1. Click on your Profile Picture in the upper right-hand corner
2. Click Account Settings
3. Click Social Login
4. Click Link New Google Account or Link New Facebook Account

A pop-up will appear allowing you to select the Google account to link.
Link New Facebook Account
If you’re already logged into Facebook, the page will reload and your account will be linked automatically.
If you ever have problems with the social login, you can always use the regular login to gain access to your account 👍
How do I change the email address on file with my account?
Keeping your email up to date ensures you receive login codes, booking updates, and payout notifications. Updating your email address also helps maintain account security and ensures uninterrupted communication with Game Masters and the StartPlaying support team.
If You Have Access to Your Current Email Address
Send an email from your current email address to support@startplayinggames.com requesting the update. Include the new email address you want to use.
Support will verify your request and update your email address accordingly.
If You No Longer Have Access to Your Current Email Address
Contact StartPlaying support and provide the following information for verification:
The name on your account.
The current email address associated with your account.
The last four digits of the payment card or bank account on file.
The total amount of your last transaction on the site.
The new email address you want to use.
Once support verifies your ownership, they will update your email address.
