StartPlaying is dedicated to making sure our Game Masters and Players are in safe, inclusive and welcoming environment. At StartPlaying, we expect everyone to behave respectfully and care for others.
When should I report another user?
You should report another user to the StartPlaying team if they are:
Violating the Terms of Service, including:
Asking you to take payment off the website
Having a game where not all players are not registered on StartPlaying
Using artwork on their template they do not have the right to use

Violating the Code of Conduct, including:
Making you or another member of your table uncomfortable
Using harassing or disrespectful language towards others
Criticizing players because of a lack of experience or low level of understanding of the game.
How do I report another user?
If you need to report a Player or Game Master, send an email to support@startplayinggames.com. Please include in your email:
Any relevant details to the situation:
What happened?
Who was involved?
What was said or done?
Any evidence you have to verify the report, like screenshots or screen recordings
What happens once I report someone?
After you report someone, our Support Goblins team will then begin an investigation into the conduct of the reported user.
If we find that a user is in violation of our Code of Conduct or the Terms of Service, a Strike will be added to that user's account. StartPlaying has a three-strikes policy that applies to all users. StartPlaying will never add a mark to your profile without notifying you and your marks are only visible to StartPlaying employees.
However, some behaviors are unacceptable and cause an immediate ban from the community and site. It is up to the discretion of the Head of Customer if a user is to be immediately banned.
Due to our Privacy Policy, we are not able to confirm any actions taken on another user's account as a result of a report.
