To start an Official Observation, an Official must be signed in and on their Dashboard screen. From here they will click on the Association tab on the left side bar menu. (Reminder: only Officials given Observer access will be able to submit an Observation)
You will then click Observation Reports at the bottom of the side bar. In the top right corner there is a drop down menu with options to Create a New Observation or View Observations counts (this brings up a list of completed Observations for each given Official to track the number of times an Official has been observed.)
To start a new Observation simply click Create New Observation.
Here you will see a list of the activities that you are able to observe for. Clicking into one of these will bring up events that can be observed.
After clicking Boy Basketball 2025-26, it brings up a page where you can find any Boys Basketball game. You are able to search by a given date, level, and class.
After choosing your game, you are now able to choose all the Officials that you would like to observe that are assigned to the game you have chosen. You can select one individual Official or all the Officials for the given game to observe. After choosing your Officials and clicking the green submit button at the bottom of the page, it will take you into the Observation Report questions.
Here you grade each of the Officials you had chosen to observe. After finishing each Official click save at the bottom of the page and then the last tab will be an overall grading of the game and the whole crew. You must fill out and save each Official's tab and the Additional tab before being able to Submit the report. The report is now viewable by all observed Officials (they will only see their own report, not the entire crew's).
