Understanding influencer audience analysis in Stellar

Stellar provides two ways to analyze an influencer's audience:

  1. Likers' data – People who actively engage with the influencer's content.

  2. Followers' data – People who follow the influencer but may not necessarily interact.

Does Stellar always display both data types?

🔍 It depends on the influencer’s settings:

  • If the influencer does not hide their likes and is not verified, Stellar displays both likers' and followers' data.

  • If the influencer hides their likes, it is possible that we won't be able to retrieve enough data to show you a valuable sample. As a general rule, if the influencer has 200 likes on average per post, Stellar will likely be able to show you relevant data.

  • If the influencer has a verified account, only the likers's data will likely be shown due to the risk of outdated data with verified accounts.

⚠️ Why is followers' data hidden for verified influencers?

For verified accounts, it's currently impossible to retrieve accurate, up-to-date followers' data (it is Meta's current way of working).

✅ Why analyze both types of audiences?

Each dataset provides valuable insights:

  • Followers' Data

    • Shows who the influencer is likely reaching (brand exposure).

    • Helps confirm audience alignment before launching a campaign.

  • Likers' Data

    • Reflects the audience genuinely engaging with content.

    • Indicates how well a campaign resonates with the target audience.

🎩 Do you notice large gaps between followers and likers? This is usually due to the difference in timing; followers' data show insights since the influencer started their activity, while likers graphs are a mirror of recent content interaction.
