There it is! One of our most popular articles. And... It's data-oriented 🙂 of course.

Here's all you need to know regarding the way Stellar calculates audiences-related metrics on the influencer's page:

  • Audience credibility score (IG)

    The ACS shows the percentage of followers that are certified to be real people (as opposed to bots and fake accounts).

    This number is evaluated by taking into account several factors: profile pictures, bio descriptions, the number of posts, as well as the followers vs. following ratio.

  • Influential Followers (IG)

    This metric shows the percentage of followers that are also considered influencers (in other words, they have more than 1,000 followers).

  • Audience Reachability (IG & TT)

    The Audience Reachability shows the percentage of mass followers within the audience of an influencer.

    It shows the distribution of the audience in 4 categories:

    • it follows more than 1,500 accounts;

    • it follows between 1,000 to 1,500 accounts;

    • it follows between from 500 to 1,000 accounts;

    • it follows less than 500 accounts.

  • Audience location (IG, YT & TT)


    This analysis shows details regarding the active and engaged audience (in other words, the people liking and commenting).

    • Influencer audience breakdown per country and per city.

    • The location is estimated by analyzing the followers’ respective location tags, the languages of their bio descriptions, and captions under their recent posts.

    • The data are gathered from a statistical sample of the influencer's followers.

  • Audience gender (IG, YT & TT)

    It is based on image recognition technology and analysis of avatar images (of the influencer’s active audience).

  • Interests (IG)

    There are the Influencer audience's major topics of interest. The percentage is estimated by analyzing the captions, mentions, hashtags, and location tags that are used by the followers.

  • Audience age (IG YT TT)

    It is based on image recognition technology and analysis of avatar images (of the influencer’s active audience).

  • Followers (IG YT TT)

    The number of followers of the account, which is updated daily.

  • Likes evolution (IG TT)

    The evolution of the likes over the 6 last months.

  • Engagement rate (IG TT)

    The engagement rate of the account, which is updated daily.

  • Video views evolution (YT TT)

    The evolution of the video views over the 6 last months.

  • Engagement breakdown (YT TT)

    The engagement (likes + dislikes + comments) on the influencer’s latest video publications over the last 6 months.
