It analyzes an influencer’s textual content across social networks and highlights posts related to sensitive or risky topics, allowing you to assess brand alignment and reputational risk with full transparency.
This feature is designed as a decision-support tool, not an automated exclusion system.
📄 What content is analyzed by Brand Safety?
Stellar analyzes all textual content available on an influencer’s profile, including:
Posts
Video captions
Story text
Any public text-based content
Across all supported social networks
In any language
👉 Currently, the analysis is based on text only.
Text-to-speech (audio analysis) and image recognition are part of the product roadmap and will be added in the coming months.
🔍 What sensitive topics does Stellar detect?
Brand Safety classifies content into 11 categories:
Threat: Direct threats, insults, or dehumanization
Violence: Physical harm, suicide, self-harm, or dangerous misuse of medication
Sexual: Nudity, sexual acts, or explicit flirtation (not in a medical context)
War: Real-world war, terrorism, weapons, armed violence
Controversial: Deeply divisive societal issues with conflicting opinions
Alcohol: Mentions of alcoholic beverages or consumption
Tobacco: Mentions of tobacco, cigarettes, vaping, e-cigarettes, or nicotine products
Politics: Parties, politicians, elections, laws, government institutions
Algo-speak: censored words like
s*x,f*ckMissing word: incomplete or ambiguous sensitive expressions
Each detected post can be associated with one or multiple categories.
⚖️ How does the risk scale work?
Each piece of content is measured on a scale from 0 to 9:
0-level content is considered safe and does not appear in the Brand Safety list
Levels 1–9 indicate increasing relevance or sensitivity
The Brand Safety measure shown on the profile is calculated based on the volume of detected content, helping you quickly assess overall risk.
📊 Where can I see Brand Safety results?
You can find Brand Safety insights directly on the influencer profile, in the content analysis section.
You’ll see:
The Brand Safety score
The number of posts analyzed
A list of detected sensitive posts
Category-based filters (Politics, Violence, etc.)
💡The date filter applies to the displayed results
✅What if no content is flagged?
If Brand Safety doesn’t detect any sensitive content on the influencer’s profile, a message will indicate that the influencer’s content appears safe. This lets you know immediately that the partnership shows no apparent risk according to Brand Safety criteria.
⏱️ Does the analysis need to be launched manually?
Yes.
Brand Safety analysis must be manually launched from the influencer profile.
Once the analysis is complete, you will receive a notification email confirming that the results are ready.

🗓️ What time range is analyzed?
When Brand Safety is unlocked for an influencer:
Stellar analyzes all posts from the past 12 months
Displayed results always respect the date filter selected in the interface
This ensures consistency between content filtering and Brand Safety insights.
🔄 Is Brand Safety updated automatically?
Yes.
Once Brand Safety is unlocked:
The analysis is automatically refreshed once per day
New posts published by the influencer are taken into account during daily updates
This makes Brand Safety suitable for both one-off checks and ongoing partnerships.

You can filter detected content by category, such as:

No.
Stellar never automatically blocks or excludes influencers based on Brand Safety results.
The feature provides context and visibility, but the final decision always remains yours.
