Set bundle prices and discounts for different markets and currencies

Understand default prices, market overrides, local currencies, and why a bundle total can differ between countries.

Written by Alex

A bundle total depends on its discount type, selected variants, and the customer’s market and currency. Compare the same offer and variants before changing a price.

1. Check what the number means

Percentage discount
10% off the eligible price.

Fixed reduction
Subtract 10 in the applicable currency.

Fixed price
Set the offer’s price to 10.

In Settings, expand the specific Offer and read the price-type selector beside the amount. This example uses % Discount

In Settings, expand the specific Offer and read the price-type selector beside the amount. This example uses % Discount; a fixed reduction or Fixed Price gives the same number a different meaning. Set per market is a separate control and only appears when eligible additional markets are available.

2. Set a market value, if available

  1. Open Bundles, edit the bundle, and open the offer you want to change.

  2. If Set per market appears, open it. Use the Default row as a reference and enter the market’s price type and value.

  3. Choose Done, resolve any price warning, then save or publish. Repeat for other offers as needed.

The control needs eligible additional markets. If you expect it but cannot find it, send support your Shopify market setup and bundle settings.

Blank
Follow the default and its normal currency conversion.

0
Disable the discount in that market. It does not make the offer free.

Fixed amount or price
Use that number in the customer’s local currency, without converting it again.

Asterisk beside a currency? In a local-currency market, a fixed reduction of 10 can mean 10 USD or 10 JPY. A percentage keeps the same proportional reduction.

3. Compare checkout

Select the country and currency on your storefront, add the exact offer to an empty cart, and check checkout. Test without another code first; then check discount combinations.

Price overrides do not hide an offer. If it should be absent, check market visibility where available or follow the bundle visibility guide.
