Add product-page upsells and optional add-ons

Offer related products on a product page, choose how shoppers add them, and verify the upsell discount at checkout.

Offer a related product, such as a case alongside a camera, before checkout. A product-page upsell can contain one or several products, with optional discounts. Publishing requires an active Sternify plan.

1. Choose the products to offer

  1. Open Upsells → Create Upsell and choose Product Page Upsell.

  2. Name the offer. Use Add Upsell Product to select products and allowed variants; replace every example product.

  3. Edit each product’s title and subtitle. Choose Pre-selected if wanted. To reduce its price, turn on Enable discount and enter a percentage or fixed amount.

2. Set button behavior and placement

  1. Choose the Add to Cart Behavior below and decide whether shoppers can select several add-ons.

  2. Open Visibility and choose all products, specific products, or collections. These are the pages displaying the offer. Add a schedule if needed.

  3. Customize the style and choose Create Upsell, or Save as draft to finish later.

Selected add-ons join the product page’s normal add-to-cart action.

Own Button
A separate upsell button adds the selected upsell products.

3. Add the block and test

  1. From Upsells, choose Add to theme. Place 💫: Upsells in the intended product template and save the theme.

  2. Open an eligible storefront product. Select and deselect add-ons, change variants, and use the configured button. Check the cart items and final checkout discount.

If the result is wrong

Missing offer: check active status, product targeting, schedule, and the product’s saved template. Check market visibility if that control is available.

Wrong items or price: start with an empty cart and the normal button. Confirm selections and discount settings, then test sticky or quick-buy buttons separately. Send support the product URL, offer name, button used, and expected versus actual result.
