Updated over 2 months ago

Steve & Kate’s Food

We are pleased to offer a wide variety of delicious lunch options at our various locations, all included in the price of your Day Pass. From piping hot pizza to salubrious Cesar salads to tangy tomato soup, and much more. Our menus include rotating weekly specials, vegetarian options, and healthy snacks and sides kids can grab at any time. Additional menu choices typically include Hot Pizza (including cheese pizza), Fresh Bagels, Tomato Soup, Salads, Deli Sandwiches, and Daily Rotating Handmade Entrées. Allergy-friendly and nutritious snacks and sides are always available. Our priority is to provide nutritious snacks and sides for your children to enjoy. You can find the 2025 summer menu for your location on our website. Weekly menus showcasing rotating options, including vegetarian choices, can be found on location-specific camp pages. Lunch and snacks are included in the Day Pass price, ensuring families do not incur additional costs for meals. Parents are encouraged to pack a labeled reusable water bottle for hydration throughout the day.

Steve & Kate's Camp accommodates various dietary needs, offering gluten-free and kosher options with food items labeled accordingly (e.g., GF for gluten-free). Campers with severe allergies are advised to bring their own lunch and snacks to ensure safety, while those with moderate allergies may consume camp-provided food with modifications, such as removing croutons from salads. Inclusive safety standards are strictly maintained in food preparation and serving.

To ensure the safety of our campers, our food is delivered by a non-contact delivery service and is served in a spacious outdoor area whenever possible. Lunch orders must be placed by 9:45 AM and lunchtime typically concludes around 12:30 PM. Our staff is well-trained in implementing the highest safety measures while serving fresh produce and lunch items, including the use of gloves and disposable utensils. We partner with reputable vendors to provide fresh and balanced meals, ensuring quality and variety.

Bringing Your Own Lunch & Snacks

As always, campers are more than welcome to bring their own ready-to-eat lunch and snacks from home. You can select "lunch from home" during our Express Check-In process each morning. Please remember to label all items and pack any refrigerated ones with ice packs, as we do not have refrigeration or heating options on site due to limited space. All packed lunches must comply with our allergy-aware guidelines and will be inspected during morning check-in. Parents are advised to avoid packing sodas, juices, or sugary treats in their child's lunch to promote healthier eating habits during camp.

Steve & Kate's Camp Allergen Information

At Steve & Kate's Camp, we take the health and safety of our campers and staff very seriously. We understand that some of our campers may have food-related allergies, so we have outlined the following information regarding allergens and food items at our camp locations. Parents can easily manage dietary restrictions and allergy information through their S&K account during the camper registration process.

Nut-free Assurance

Rest assured that no food items provided by Steve & Kate's Camp contain nuts or nut products. However, some products may have been prepared in a facility that handles nuts, which may be clearly labeled as "may contain nuts." We kindly ask that campers and staff refrain from bringing any nuts or shellfish (such as shrimp, prawns, clams, etc.) or food containing these allergens to our camp locations. Thank you for understanding and helping us keep all our campers safe. Dietary modifications and allergen labeling ensure inclusivity, such as kosher-certified pizza and gluten-free options clearly marked on the menu.

Lunch Selection Process: You can select your child's lunch option during the daily check-in process, including via our convenient Express Check-In system. If you notice that only 'lunch from home' appears as an option and you wish to select a provided lunch, please notify the camp team, and they will update the available selections for you. In the rare event that an issue arises with meal delivery, we take immediate steps to ensure alternate options are provided. The online Express Check-In process begins at 6:00 PM the evening before camp. Parents can specify meal preferences and dietary requirements for the following day, ensuring accurate planning and preparation. The Express Check-In process includes steps such as logging into the Steve & Kate's Camp account, navigating to the meal selection tab, completing health screening questions, and choosing a meal. A QR code generated after selection can be used for check-in the next morning.
