What is a Baseline Rota?

Updated over a week ago

This is your site's agreed-upon weekly Stint template.

It sets the minimum number of Stints and specific times required to cover your peaks. Rather than building a schedule from scratch each week, your Baseline is your foundation for consistent support week-on-week. To make life easier, your Stint Baseline is automatically posted each week, ensuring your shop is always prepared without you having to lift a finger.

Why are Baselines important?

  • Guaranteed peak coverage:

We match your business with reliable, local Stinters, adding those whose availability aligns with your Baseline to your Team.

  • A reliable Stint Team:

Consistency ensures Stinters can plan their schedules around your shifts, leading to better fulfilment.

  • Fair income, better loyalty:

Your Baseline includes agreed weekly minimums. Committing to these ensures your Stinters have a predictable weekly income and will stay in your team longer.

  • Operational simplicity:

An automated Baseline removes the weekly admin burden of scheduling, freeing you to focus on other tasks.

Updating your Baseline

We know trade patterns can shift. Whether that’s due to seasonality or footfall changes, we’re always happy to make adjustments along the way.

We require 2 weeks’ notice:

This allows your Stinters to factor your new hours into their schedules. Sudden changes can disrupt your Stint Team and may lead to lower fulfilment rates (you may receive Cover Stinters in instances your Stint Team can’t go).

How to request a change

Email your Stint Account Manager or use the Live-Chat in-app. We’ll work with you to

ensure your new Baseline is perfectly suited to your business.

Try to include:

  1. The change (the Stint day and time).

  2. Why you’d like to make the change.

  3. How long the change should be in place.
