Every now and then, a business might get super busy and ask if you can stay a little longer than your scheduled hours.
If a manager asks you to extend your Stint, it is entirely up to you. You are well within your rights to say yes if you want the extra hours, but you are equally free to say no if you have other commitments.
How to claim your overtime pay:
Because overtime isn't automatically tracked in the app, you need to report it manually to ensure you get paid accurately. Just follow these steps:
Work the extra time as agreed with the on-site manager.
βContact Live Chat immediately after your Stint to report the exact additional time you worked.
βWait for confirmation. We will double-check the hours with the business.
βGet paid! Once confirmed, your extra earnings will be processed and paid to you by the following week.
π‘ Please note: Overtime pay will not be visible in your app.
Your health and safety come first. Before agreeing to extra hours, please keep the following in mind:
Know your limits: You must never exceed maximum legal shift lengths or miss your mandatory break times.
βCheck your hours: If the extended time pushes you over your maximum legal weekly working hours, please politely decline the request.
βPrioritise your well-being: Only stay if you feel entirely safe, comfortable, and fit to do so.
