What is a Standby Stint?

Updated over a week ago

A Standby Stint means being available on short notice to fill a last minute Stint cancellation.

The main responsibility of a Standby Stint is to step in for last minute Stint offers or emergencies at our Stint Teams businesses.

If you accept one, it means you must commit to being available during a certain time slot.

These are the most important Stints and are only available to trustworthy Stinters!

How does it work?

  1. At the start of your slot:

Important! You must be based within Zone 1 to 3 and be next to your phone. We will call you if a Stint becomes available.

  2. Be ready to go to a Stint:

During your Standby Stint you should be prepared to work with a good attitude and have the correct uniform.

  3. Guaranteed income:

If there are no Stints available during your Standby time, you will get paid £25 - £40 for waiting. If there is a Stint available you will be paid the market rate for the Stint (at least £25).

Getting paid:

If you do not receive a Stint offer within the first 2 hours of your Standby slot, you are free to leave and will be paid at least £25 (that’s £12.50 an hour!)

You will only be offered a Stint in London and for the Stint Teams you’re a part of.
