After you download the backup file, it is in your device's default download location.
For desktops/laptops

In case you set up the system to ask you each time you download anything, you may need to look across your device(s) to find the file/
For mobile devices on iOS
Safari (default): Downloads are saved to:
Files → iCloud Drive → Downloads(You can change this to “On My iPhone” in Settings → Safari → Downloads)Chrome / Brave: iOS versions do not have a fixed download folder. When you tap "Download", you'll be prompted to Save to Files, where you choose the location manually (e.g., “On My iPhone → Chrome” or another folder). If you cancel or skip this, the file is not saved at all.
For mobile devices on Android
Chrome / Brave / Firefox / Samsung Internet: Downloads usually go to:
Internal Storage → Downloador:Files / My Files → Downloads
You can also access downloads via:
The Files or My Files app (pre-installed on most Android devices)
Or directly from the Download notification immediately after saving the file
Note that you can have more backup files if you connect other devices to your Stobox 4 account, as the system requires you to generate a backup file for each new device you connect.
We strongly recommend you save the backup files in a safe location and make copies on other devices and cloud storage.
This way, you will be able to recover access to your account even if you lose access to either of your devices.
By default, the name of the backup file is StoboxBackupKeys [timestamp]. The file is in JSON format.
