Before you start,
Check the eligible documents and some hints on the KYC process>>>
Step 1. Availability
Verification is available after Business Account subscription activation or RWA Account activation.
You can start KYC from:
Dashboard — click “Verify my account”.
Blue banner “Verify your account to unlock Stobox 4” at the top of the page.
Pop-up that appears in the RWA Wallet section:
Step 2. Start the KYC Flow
Once you use any of the methods above, the KYC flow starts in a pop-up.
A SumSub iframe opens in the pop-up.
All data you provide within the iframe is processed directly by SumSub and stored on their side. Stobox does not store your document images or sensitive data.
Step 3. Terms and Documents Select
Click “Continue” and agree to SumSub terms.
2. You will see a screen with the required steps — click “Start Verification” to begin.
Tip: you can check the box to create a SumSub ID to reuse your verification on other platforms. Note that verification will be tied to the email you used to register on Stobox 4.
3. Select the issuing country and type of document, then click “Continue”.
SumSub may use your IP location to pre-fill data. Please select the actual country that issued the document you will use for verification.
Do not use VPN during the verification process. VPN services that change your IP address may cause delays or failure.
If the country you choose is not supported by Stobox at the moment, you will not be able to pass verification and activate your account.
We are continuously working to increase the number of supported countries. If verification fails, please contact Support — we will do our best to help you.
4. The next step will show you requirements and a link to guidelines on proceeding with the document check. Press continue to start the process.
Step 4. Document Check — Methods
You can complete the document check in three different ways.
Use live camera capture on your current device:
Allow camera access to the Stobox app when prompted, then proceed to the live-shot step.
Place your document in front of the camera aligned with the semi-transparent template (red area). If the app does not take a shot automatically, press the “Shot” button ( marked with green circle) in the middle bottom of the pop-up.
After taking the shot, you will see the result and can retake the photo if it is unclear.
If you do not have the documents with you, or camera quality is low, you can upload existing photos/scans directly from this screen by pressing the “Picture” icon (orange circle in the screenshot) at the left-bottom corner of the pop-up (to the left of the “Shot” button).
In the right-bottom corner, use the camera icon to switch to another camera if multiple webcams are connected (blue circle).
2. Upload existing photos or scans of your document:
Click “upload documents” on the camera-access request screen.
3. Use your mobile device:
Scan the QR code or copy the link and send it to your mobile device (via any convenient messenger).
Once you open the link on a mobile device, you can finish the verification there, passing all the same steps.
If a photo is not suitable for the check, the system will notify you and ask you to retake the photo or upload different images of the document.
Step 5. Continue to the Video-Selfie
1. After you upload the documents, click “Continue”.
2. The system redirects you to the video-selfie guide step.
Check the requirements and guidance via the provided link to make this process easy.
3. Click “Continue” to start the video-selfie step.
4. Place your face in front of the camera and follow the on-screen instructions.
5. Make a round movement with your head to expose all sides of your face to the system.
Step 6. Submission and Review
After you complete the video-selfie liveness check, the system sends all data for review.
2. You will see the review progress step in the pop-up.
3. You can close the pop-up; the check will be completed automatically in the background.
4. You can track the progress by clicking on the banner, which will redirect you to the Verification Center. Clicking the Pending button will reopen the pop-up.
Congratulations — you have completed the verification process.
