You can easily add Google Tag Manager or your Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to Stora at any time. It is recommended to use Google Tag Manager (GTM) as the primary platform for tracking due to its flexibility and the potential for conflicts when combining multiple tracking platforms.
Once you've created your account with Google, you'll be provided with a tracking ID in one of the following formats:
Google Analytics: UA-XXXXXXXXXX
Google Tag Manager: GTM-XXXXXXX
Copy your code and visit your Stora Storefront Configuration page here. All you need to do then is paste it into the relevant field and save the page. Please use only one or the other, not both.
π‘ Tracking codes in Stora are applied site-wide, so it is not possible to target specific pages. Avoid placing tracking scripts in multiple locations within your Stora settings as this could lead to inconsistent tracking results.
Now that you've done that, you might be wondering how you can track how well your visits are converting into bookings with your Analytics platform.
