Setting up Billing Periods

Learn how to activate or deactivate Billing Periods.

Updated over 4 months ago

Switching on a new Billing Period is straightforward. To get started, press the Change Billing Periods button at the top right of the Pricing page.

How to activate a Billing Period

There are six Billing Periods available: Every week, every 4 weeks, every month, every 3 months, every 6 months and yearly.

You can turn on as many as you like by pressing the toggle beside it.

How to deactivate a Billing Period

You can turn a Billing Period off by simply turning the toggle off. You are not required to turn off Billing Periods you aren't using; you can leave them on should you wish.

Note: If you're using a Billing Period as the default Storefront Billing Period for one of your Sites, you won't be able to turn it off until you change that default to a different Billing Period via the Edit Site form.

Next: Set prices

When a new Billing Period is activated, you must set prices for all Unit Types and Insurance Cover Levels you wish to use. If you don't, those products will be automatically hidden from the Storefront, and you won't be able to create a Subscription for them at that Billing Period in the Backoffice.
