What is a Buyer Ready?

The Buyer Ready feature in Street allows your clients to complete the following task from within the Buyer App:

  • Compliance Check Details (AML)

  • Proof of Funds

  • Solicitor Details

Their details will be displayed in the CRM so that you can then run AML checks, confirm that they have the funds available, and add their solicitor details.

Note - The AML check task will only appear if you have setup the Landmark AML integration. If you use Smart Compliance or manage your AML checks externally to Street, buyers will not be able to submit their details via the consumer app.

How to setup Buyer Ready?

To get started, head to Settings (left side panel) > Branch Settings > Client Onboarding > Sales Applicant. From here you have the option of disabling or enabling the Buyer Ready feature.

Note - You must be a branch or company admin to access the Client Onboarding settings.

When disabled, buyers will not have the option of submitting AML, proof of funds or solicitor details via the buyer app. Enabling the feature will give you some additional options.

When should clients complete their tasks?

If enabled, you can choose whether clients should submit their details after submitting an offer or when request.

If you choose 'after submitting an offer', the tasks will display in the buyer app once they have submitted an offer. If the offer is accepted and they have not completed the tasks, we’ll send them a reminder.

If you choose 'when requested' we will not display the tasks, or notify the client about them until you click the button to send a notification about the tasks from the Sales Applicant page.

You can always change this setting in future by clicking the 'edit' button in the 'enabled' box.

What details should be collected?

You also have the option of selecting which details you would like to collect via the app, choosing between compliance checks (AML), proof of funds and solicitor details. Simply tick whichever ones you want to collect.

Now the Buyer Ready feature is all setup! For information on how buyers submit these details, see our Buyer Ready (App) help article and for information on how it works within Street when that information is submitted, see our Buyer Ready help article.
