What is a Buyer Ready?

The Buyer Ready feature in Street allows your clients to complete the following task from within the Buyer App:

  • Compliance Check Details (AML)

  • Proof of Funds

  • Solicitor Details

Once submitted, their details will then be displayed in the CRM so that you can then run AML checks, confirm that they have the funds available, and add their solicitor details.

Note - The Buyer Ready feature must be enabled in your branch settings before buyers can see it in their app. For more information on setting this up, see our Client Onboarding (Buyer Ready) help article.

Buyer Ready card

The Buyer Ready card will display on the right hand side of the following pages: Sales Applicant, Sales Offer and Sales Progression.

Any information submitted by via the Buyer Ready feature on the Buyer App will automatically show here. However it's important to note that the Buyer Ready tasks will only show in the buyer's app either after an offer is submitted or when manually requested by you within Street, depending on your settings.

Manually requesting Buyer Ready information

Within the Buyer Ready card you can click the 'Send Request' button to send an email to the buyer, as well as a push notification if they have the Street Consumer App installed.

From here you can see if/when the most recent automated notification was sent and choose which tasks you want to notify them to complete

Buyer Ready Information

As highlighted, when a buyer submits their details via the Buyer App it will appear in Street for you to review. However you will also have the option of manually entering the buyer's details if they cannot / don't want to submit via the app by clicking the 'add' buttons:

Compliance Checks

In the compliance checks section you can submit an Identity Check for the buyer via the Landmark AML integration. For more information, see our Landmark AML Checks help article.

Proof of Address

In the proof of address section you can click the 'update' button and choose to pass the vendor and set how this check was carried out, including what document was used.

This section is informational only and is not included in any details sent during an AML check.

Proof of Funds

In the proof of funds section, you can review the relevant information the buyer submitted around how they are purchasing, deposit amount, mortgage amount and evidence documents for deposit and agreement in principle. Once reviewed, you can mark the details as accepted.

This section is informational only and is not included in any details sent during an AML check.

Solicitor Details

In the solicitor details section, if the solicitor details submitted by the buyer match existing details in Street, you can save them straight in. Alternatively you can create a new firm and/or solicitor if their solicitor does match.

This section is informational only and is not included in any details sent during an AML check.
