Consumer Desktop Platform - Tenant Functionality
Tenants have the option of logging into their Street account either through the Street Consumer App or by logging in on desktop via browser.
This article focuses on the seller functionality in desktop however for information on how this works via app see our Tenant Functionality (App) help article.
Tenant Functionality (Desktop)
Within their Street account via desktop, tenants have the ability to manage their viewings, see key information about their tenancy, view upcoming inspections and report and track maintenance issues.
Note - It is not possible for tenants to submit offers or the track the progress of a lettings application via their Street account via desktop.
Viewings
From the viewings tab tenants can see a list of any upcoming viewings, detailing the address, date and time, as well as completed and cancelled viewings. Tenants also have the option of submitting feedback that is sent to your agency to be reviewed, before you choose to submit to the landlord.
Note - Provisional viewings will not show in the tenant's Street account.
For more information on tenant viewings, see our Tenant Managing Viewings (Desktop) help article.
Tenancies
From the tenancies tab, tenants can see the key details of their tenancy including the rent amount, rent date and tenancy expiry. Tenants can also see any upcoming appointments such as inspections, report maintenance issues and view your agency's contact details.
Inspections
Also within the tenancies tab, tenants can see the details of any upcoming inspections, highlighting the date, time and inspector.
Inspections are shown for informational purposes and tenants are not able to interact with the appointment in any way. Once the inspection has been marked as complete in Street, it will disappear from the tenant's Street account.
Note - Unconfirmed inspections will not show in the tenant's Street account.
Maintenance
From the maintenance tab, tenants can submit maintenance requests
For more information, see our Tenant Reporting a Maintenance Issue (Desktop) help article.
