How to add partners and setup your commission settings for the Partner Platform

Partner Platform

The Partner Platform is a central hub for businesses that estate agents work with (i.e. partners) to interact with and manage Street-related clients and facilitate referrals.

The Partner Platform has been set up for mortgage brokers initially and further partners will be included over time, including solicitors and contractors.

Partner Platform Settings

The first step is for agents is to invite partners and set the commission settings for paying their staff. To get started, head to Settings > Company Settings > Partner Platform.

Note - You will need to be a Company admin to access the Partner Platform settings.

Adding a New Partner

To invite a partner to use the Partner Platform click the '+ Add New Partner' button at the top right.

Here, you simply need to enter the company name and primary contact name + email. Clicking 'generate invite code' will send an email to them asking them to set up their account.

Brokers can either follow the email instructions or redeem their unique code via partners.street.co.uk/redeem-invite

Connected Partners

The Connected Partners tab shows a list of all partners that have completed their account set up. From here you can see the type of service they offer and their last referral date.

You can also set a partner as a 'preferred partner', in preparation for our client self referral feature coming soon.

Invited Partners

The Invited Partners tab shows a list of all partners that have been invited to setup their account. Here you can see their invite code (useful for if they misplace it),what date/time they were invited and their invite status.

Branch Settings

The branch settings tab allows you to setup which branches are able to access the partner platform. This is useful if you have brokers that are used for specific branches only.

Commission Settings

The Commission Settings tab is where you can set the commission paid to your team members for their referrals. Here you can choose whether to pay on referral, on application, on completion or a combination of the three as well as how much they should be paid for each.

When a commission setting is toggled on, it will go into the Staff Commissions table (to be approved by a company admin).

On referral will result in a payment being added for approval when they successfully refer a client in Street.

On application will result in a payment automatically being added for approval when the partner submits an application for a mortgage and updates the status in their Partner Platform. There is nothing to action in Street for this to happen.

On completion will result in a payment being added for approval when the sale is marked as Complete by the broker in the Partner Platform. There is nothing to action in Street for this to happen.
