Contractor Compliance
Within any contractor page you can store and manage their contractor compliance certificates such as their employers liability, public liability, gas safety register and more.
Additionally when adding a contractor to a maintenance job or a charge on a ledger, you will see a warning if they have any compliance certificates that have expired or are expiring soon. This makes it easy to track all compliance in one central location and helps prevents instructing contractors that are non-compliant.
Compliance Certificates Card
From any contractor page you will see the Compliance Certificates card on the right hand side showing any certificates they have along with their status and valid to date.
Contractor Compliance Tab
From the Compliance Tab you can view and manage the contractor's compliance certificates in more detail.
Adding a compliance certificate
To add a new compliance certificate, click the 'add certificate' button at the top right. Here you can upload the certificate document and Street AI will read the document and populate the dates. Alternatively you can manually add the dates if needed.
Managing an existing certificate
By clicking the three dot menu on the right of a certificate you can edit, delete mark as not renewing on an existing certificate. If the certificate has expired you can also mark it as renewed.
Contractors Table
From the main contractors table on the left hand side navigation bar, under property management, you can see a list of all contractors in your account. On the right you will see the column for 'certificate status' showing any active (green), expiring (yellow) and expired (red).
Clicking the drop down arrow on the right of a contractor will expand to show any certificates for that contractor, showing their valid from and expiry date.
You can also click the 'renew certificate' button on the right hand side to renew any certificate, uploading the new document or adding the new dates. Renewing here will create a new certificate for the contractor.
Adding contractor on maintenance job
When adding a contractor on a maintenance job you will see a banner if the contractor you selected has any expired or expiring soon certificates. This banner is just a warning to let you know, you can still proceed with adding the contractor but it's worth checking to ensure you obtain an up to date certificate.
Adding contractor on charge on ledger
If you manage your client accounting in Street, similarly to when adding a contractor on a job, when adding a one off charge on a ledger you will also see a banner warning you of any expired or expiring soon certificates. Again, this is just informational and you can still proceed if you choose to.
