How to set owner maintenance preferences and how do they work

Owner Maintenance Preferences

Each property owner can have individual maintenance preferences set up to streamline how maintenance related workflows for that owner.

To get started, head to the Owner page, accessible from the Property page by clicking the owner's name.

From the owner page, scroll down and on the right hand side you will see the Owner Preferences card and where you can click the pencil icon on the maintenance section to set their maintenance preferences.

Float Preference

If you use Street for your client accounting, you can set the owner's float preference that will be used when allocating funds.

Job Approval

Additionally you can set an owner's minimum job approval amount. When adding quotes on a maintenance job, you will see this value that you can use to determine whether you should inform the owner or not.

Preferred Contractors

Finally, you have the option of adding preferred contractors for the owner. You can select from any existing contractors in your account and these will be shown when adding a contractor to a maintenance job.
