Document Letterheads

Adding a document letterhead into your account will then allow you to use the letterhead as the backdrop to any documents you create in the Street Document Builder. This might be for the purpose of using Street's E-Sign Functionality or for any more standard document you wish to have stored in the system.

Document letterheads are exclusively for use on document templates and cannot be used on brochures or window cards.

Document letterheads are a requirement to start creating Document Templates so ensure you have them setup before progressing.

Adding a Document Letterhead

To get started, go to Settings (on the left side panel, at the bottom) > Company Settings section > Document Letterheads and click 'add letterhead'.

Note - You will need to be a Branch or Company Admin to access the document letterhead settings.

Enter the name of the letterhead eg Street Letterhead and, if you have multiple branches in your network, select the branch it belongs.

The letterhead file you upload must be a PDF, and should have dimensions of 792 x 1120px (A4 @ 300dpi). You will also need to ensure the letterhead does not have any crop marks or bleed marks on the upload. Please choose a letterhead document that looks exactly how you would like it to generate.

Tip! If you don't want to use a company letterhead within Street, you can simply upload a blank A4 PDF to use.

Once this has been added, you will be able to set your margins and save your letterhead.

Editing a Document Letterhead

Should you need to edit an existing letterhead template, you can click the 'pencil' icon from the document letterheads page which will take you back to the margins page and allow you to upload a new PDF file if needed.

You can also delete a letterhead by clicking the 'bin' icon however if that letterhead is currently in use by a document template, you will need to edit the letterhead attached to the template first before deleting the letterhead. For more information, see our Document Templates help article.

Street is constantly being updated. This can mean that some of these articles become slightly out of date. If you spot something that looks a little bit different to your Street account, please let us know on the live chat so we can get it updated!
