Property Brochures

Property brochures are generated from the property page directly however you will need a brochure template setup to select. For more information on how to create a brochure template, see our Brochure Templates help article.

Generating a brochure

To get started, from a property page click Create > Generate Brochure:

Selecting a brochure template

Here, you can select which template you want to use from the drop-down:

Note - If you are a multi branch network, this list will only show any brochure templates that have been created for your active branch. If the brochure template you are looking for doesn't show, you can change your active branch by clicking your profile icon at the top right and selecting a branch from the list:

Editing the brochure

Once you've selected your template, you'll see the edit brochure page. This is where you can make any edits to the brochure.

Duplicating or deleting a page

The left side panel will show a list of the pages. Hovering over a page will show two additional buttons, allowing you to duplicate or delete a page:

Changing which photos are used

When a brochure is first generated, it will by default use the first few photos as stored on the property photos page. However the photos being used can be changed by first clicking on the photo on the brochure page and then selecting which photo to use from the 'edit content' panel that appears on the right hand side:

Editing the written content

By default, brochure pages will display the details relevant to the type of page as selected in the template. For example, a 'property details' page will display the property description as saved in the property details. However, as with photos, all of the written content can be edited by clicking on the text to open the 'edit content' panel on the right hand side:

Here, you can edit the formatting, font colour and size as well as the actual written text itself. Once you've made the changes, click 'apply' and the brochure page will update with the changes.

Sometimes, you may have too much text to display on one page. For example, in a 'property details' page the property description may be so long that it doesn't fit on the single page. In this case, you could simply shorten the description in the brochure by editing the text. Or you can duplicate the page and then edit the text on each page so the original page shows as much of the description as possible and then the duplicate page continues on from where the first page left off. Don't forget to edit the photos as well if you want these to be different on the duplicated page:

Saving the brochure

When you are finished making edits, click the 'save' button at the top right to save the brochure to the property. When clicking save, you will see a popup asking if you want to publish the brochure to the portals. Ticking this box will automatically add the URL for this brochure to the 'other media and URLs' section in the property details which will then show on the portals:

Note - Any existing brochure URL's stored in the 'other media and URLs' section will be replaced if you tick this box.

This will create a public URL for the brochure that will automatically be added to the 'Other Media & URLs' section (found in the Edit > Edit Property section) and will then automatically publish to the portals.

For more information on adding portals to listings, see this help article.

Viewing a brochure

Once the brochure has been saved, it will be stored in the property's documents and files pages. This can be accessed from the property page via Info > Documents and Files. Click the three dots on the right hand side and click 'view':

From here, you can also edit the name and description of the file, download the brochure or delete it altogether.

If you would like to print a brochure, click the download button to download the brochure as a PDF file. Open this PDF file on your computer and you should be able to print by clicking the print button.

The 'share settings' option allows you to make the file visible in the landlord app. Note - this will only work if the property is a lettings property.

Editing an existing brochure

Once a brochure has been saved, it is not possible to edit the content as it becomes a static file. Instead, you will need to generate a new brochure. However, when selecting the same template, Street will automatically use the most recently created brochure for that property as the template.

This means, when generating a new brochure, you will get an exact copy of the brochure you're looking to edit and can then make the necessary changes, such as updating the price if there's been a price reduction.

Upon saving that new brochure, you'll have the option to publish to portals again and doing to will replace the existing brochure.

Street is constantly being updated. This can mean that some of these articles become slightly out of date. If you spot something that looks a little bit different to your Street account, please let us know on the live chat so we can get it updated!
